Finally Three

Our Princess was thrilled to be 3!!! She couldn't wait to have her birthday after she experienced both of her brother's b-days in the fall. She was ready for her turn!

The first thing she said when she woke up the next morning was "Is it still my birthday?" to which we told her no, then she said, "Am I still three!?!" She always makes us laugh! So lucky to have her in our family!!!

Skiing

I was too chicken to take my camera on the hill. I only snapped a few pictures after our fun day of skiing. The boys had a blast and we survived too! It was a fabulous day!

EBAY

Here is the reason I love e-bay. I recently tried to purchase some new lipstick. I found my favorite color was no longer available. I couldn't find anything else that I really liked. So...I went home and looked it up on e-bay. I found someone selling my lipstick in quantities of 4 with a total of 12 available. So what did I do...I bought all 12!! I sure hope my taste in lipstick doesn't change soon :) With combined shipping I spent less than $3 a piece (cheaper than what I would have spent otherwise). All in all I decided it was a good purchase. Thanks E-bay!!!

The day has come...

Our oldest broke his last pair of orange glasses playing basketball. They no longer make the frame he has and they only had green left. Lucky for all of us he looks cute no matter the color of his glasses!

GRANDMA?!?!

There are definite benefits to having grandparents so close that they can watch our children. There are other times that I question it...

My mom was getting ready when my little princess asked for some make-up and this was the result!!! She absolutely loved it!!! Fortunately, the last time she went to Grandma's she only came home with her nails painted and not her face :)

I can't believe this cutie is going to turn three this week! She is growing so quickly. She is definitely all girl and a princess at that. She was looking at my wedding picture on my wall today and said, "Is that when Daddy was the prince and you were the princess?" Too cute!!

Part

Maybe its too late at night...maybe I have been looking at our family pictures for too long...I just noticed that everyone in our family parts their hair on the same side. All three of my kids have cowlicks that make it very difficult to part on the other side. What about your family? Do you all part on the same side?

More pictures...

I have some family that wanted to see more pictures...so here they are...

Photographer Plug

I have been asked by several people who took our family pictures...Her name is Sheena Lindholm http://sheenalindholmphotography.com/. I know she does work in Southeastern Idaho, Utah (Salt Lake area), and Boise area on a regular basis. She was very affordable and very flexible. We received a disc with all of our pictures and rights to them after our photo shoot. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.

Brown Eyes

My little girl has very dark eyes. They are a brown hazel. Depending on what she is wearing depends on what colors come out. I have blue eyes, my boys both have blue eyes, I just expected my daughter to be the same. I am often surprised when I look at her and see her dark eyes. She is so beautiful!

Okay...now for a tangent that I am sure my sisters will love :)
When we were little my Dad played a lot of music for us. One particular artist we all loved was Crystal Gayle. How could not love someone with hair like hers when you're a little girl :) Okay...back to my tangent...she has a song titled "Don't it make my brown eyes blue." When I was little I was sure the lyrics were "DONUTS make my brown eyes blue." I have always liked donuts and I thought that was why my eyes were so blue. This thought came to me today as I was shopping at Wal-Mart and my little girl was begging for a donut.

Turning 5...

Back to back birthday parties...I am happy to have them done. We celebrated with a carnival. The kids played different carnival games downstairs and won prizes. Again...the big balloons were a hit!

Harry Potter

Here is a picture of my oldest when he first started wearing glasses. Harry Potter was big then too and we sometimes referred to his as Hairless Porter. He is about 16 months is this picture.

Now I think he makes a pretty cute Harry Potter.
